Alright... Well, if "sins of the parents" count, then I'm off to a really excellent start. Child of adultery! I've lied, I've cheated. I've stolen, I've caused fights... Did so much drugs and alcohol, you wouldn't even believe it.

[ He pauses, trying to make a cigarette. Sadly, that fails. He takes a moment to pout before adding: ]

Of course not, that's just a precursor. I definitely killed a whole bunch of angels while we were fighting, that's gotta count extra for sins. Is premarital sex a sin? Because let me tell you, I'm not exactly a sex maniac, but I've definitely gotten laid.

Let me ask you this: Are there things you believe people can't step back from? Does being sorry and wanting to do better.... does that honestly make up for your sins? It doesn't erase those things. Can you ever fully atone for those things?

So long as a person repents with sincerity, it may be with their death alone, but atonement can be found.
