hit me up on slack (utaoutauhito, display is 森 歌) or plurk (sacae) if you have any questions! probably people won't get very injured if at all but there is some chance of getting mauled to a small or possibly significant degree. careful guys

you’re in a courtroom. even if that should be unfamiliar to you, somehow you know - you’re in a courtroom, and you’re right at the stand.
the stand itself is shaped as if it was carved from a cylinder, with the standing platform a step up from the marble floors and the partly encircling wall standing to about chest or waist height. it’s starkly isolated in the center of the room, but a good two or three yards off to either side, it’s flanked by elevated seats, a few rows of them each. for jury, or for audience. either way, they’re empty right now.
directly in front of you is a rise in the room like a balcony - and Uriel upon it, with one hand settled on the railing and his gaze fixed steadily on you.
he opens his mouth, and with a real voice, he speaks - ]
Confess your sins.
((scoring criteria is engaging with Uriel. powers are off.))

for a moment Dantalion is taken aback in something akin to awe. well, considering the scale of the place, and the sheer intimidating stature of those pillars towering above him as he stands alone and exposed, effectively the center of attention, it would be difficult not to be.
that being said he finds himself completely unsurprised that Uriel is the one standing above him. it's actually a little bit funny. no matter what world it seems, the role of Uriel is always the same.]
What for? [bites back smoothly, falling comfortably into his own role. playing the rebellious and unapologetic sinner is kind of fun, in a way. especially when faced with a prude angel like Uriel.]
My "sentence" was already decided a long time ago. You're late.

You may claim that to be so, but even now you show no penance.

... he leans against the railing that comes up to his waist, meeting Uriel's gaze defiantly.]
Then I repeat: What for? If I'm not on trial, my sins are my own business.
