hit me up on slack (utaoutauhito, display is 森 歌) or plurk (sacae) if you have any questions! probably people won't get very injured if at all but there is some chance of getting mauled to a small or possibly significant degree. careful guys

Re: 1.
the stand itself is shaped as if it was carved from a cylinder, with the standing platform a step up from the marble floors and the partly encircling wall standing to about chest or waist height. it’s starkly isolated in the center of the room, but a good two or three yards off to either side, it’s flanked by elevated seats, a few rows of them each. for jury, or for audience. either way, they’re empty right now.
directly in front of you is a rise in the room like a balcony - and Uriel upon it, with one hand settled on the railing and his gaze fixed steadily on you.
he opens his mouth, and with a real voice, he speaks - ]
Confess your sins.
((scoring criteria is engaging with Uriel. powers are off.))
Re: 1.
. . . Uriel?
Re: 1.
Re: 1.
. . . why do you want to know my sins?
Re: 1.
Re: 1.
No, I don't.
[ thoughtfully ]
But if you want to know some of them, I can tell you.
Re: 1.
Then, allow me to hear them.
Re: 1.
I am too prideful, I have gone against my purpose to the detriment of the greater good and murdered my brother three times.
[ he's not sure how much he wants to say, those seem safe enough rather. There's so many more in the back of his mind, however ]
Re: 1.
Re: 1.
To you? Right now? Yes.
Re: 1.
Re: 1.
No.
[ tilts his head a little. He's still unsure but ]
What's the purpose of this?
Re: 1.
Re: 1.
I'm already doing penance.
Re: 1.
Re: 1.
[ it's somewhat embarrassing to admit ]
I'm not certain why I should tell you.
Re: 1.
Re: 1.
I don't think we answer to the same power.
Re: 1.
Re: 1.
I accept all misfortune. I will pay back my debt.
Re: 1.
Do you believe that by suffering, you can erase what suffering you were once responsible for?
[ it's not an especially dismissive tone, more like asking for clarification ]
Re: 1.
Things can't be erased and I'm not looking to do something like that. Even if it balances, it doesn't change what I did.
Re: 1.
Re: 1.
I can't. It can't be undone. I can't ... [ trails off ] it doesn't matter fur thus "lifetime" anyway.
